Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tbsp Noshejan Murch-e Masala Dar
2 tsp ginger paste
8 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp honey
Wooden skewers, soaked in water at least 20 minutes
Lavash
1 lemon, quartered
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
Instructions
Cut the chicken into 1" pieces. Place into a large mixing bowl.
In a mixing bowl, add the yogurt, Noshejan Murch-e Masala Dar, ginger paste, garlic, olive oil, and honey to the chicken. Mix well until all ingredients are combined. Marinate for at least one hour or overnight.
Preheat oven to 425°.
Thread the chicken on the skewers evenly. Place on a lined sheet pan without crowding. Cook for 20 minutes or until the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165°.
Turn the oven to broil and adjust the oven rack to the top. Broil the chicken for 1-2 minutes or until it looks golden and has a slight char.
Layer the lavash bread on a serving platter. Place the chicken skewers on top. Squeeze lemon juice over the meat and bread. Garnish with cilantro.
