Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, diced
1 tbsp ginger paste
8 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup diced tomatoes
4 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp Noshejan Murch-e Masala Dar
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup hot water
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
1 red chili, sliced thin
1 red onion, peeled and sliced into rings
Instructions
In a large pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the onions and cook for 15 minutes, stirring often.
Add the ginger, garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, and Noshejan Murch-e Masala Dar. Mix well and cook for 3 minutes.
Cook the ground beef in a separate pan. Cook until no longer pink.
Add the meat and rendered fat to the tomato mixture and mix well. Mix in the water, and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat.
Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl.
Garnish with cilantro, red chili, and red onion.
