Ingredients
-
16 oz dried macaroni
-
7 tbsp butter
-
3 tbsp flour
-
4 cups milk
-
5 tbsp Noshejan Umami Unico
-
2 cups shredded Gouda
-
2 cups shredded Gruyère
-
1 cup shredded Parmesan
-
1 cup Panko
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°. Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
Boil the pasta according to package instructions.
In a large pot, heat 5 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Add the flour and whisk well until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Slowly add the milk and whisk until smooth and the mixture starts to thicken, about 10 minutes.
Add 4 tbsp Noshejan Umami Unico to the sauce and mix well.
Add Gouda, Gruyère, and Parmesan (reserving a little of each for topping the Macaroni and Cheese). Mix well and remove from heat.
Add the pasta to the cheese sauce. Mix well.
Pour into baking dish and spread evenly.
Melt the remaining 2 tbsp butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Add the panko and the remaining 1 tbsp Noshejan Umami Unico. Mix well.
Top the Macaroni and Cheese with reserved cheeses and Panko mixture.
Bake uncovered for 25 minutes, until the top is bubbly and golden.
