Ingredients

2lbs ground beef

1 tbsp olive oil

1 large onion, diced

6 cloves of garlic, minced

1 bell pepper, seeded & diced

1 cup diced carrots
-
1 13oz pkg black beans, rinsed

1 13oz pkg cannellini beans, rinsed

1 24oz pkg diced tomatoes
-
1 4.56oz tube tomato paste
-
4 tbsp Noshejan Taco Zindagi
-
3 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes. Drain the fat and add the beef to the slow cooker.
In the same skillet, add the olive oil and cook the onion until lightly caramelized, for about 10-15 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute longer. Add to the slow cooker.
Add all remaining ingredients (except your preferred toppings) to the slow cooker and mix well.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
Suggested toppings are shredded cheddar cheese, pickled shallots, raw red onions, green onions, sour cream, diced jalepeño, chopped cilantro, and/or a side of cornbread!
