Ingredients
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, finely diced
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp miso paste
1 cup cooked chickpeas
½ cup fregula sarda
1 tbsp Noshejan Bacio Italiano
6 cups chicken broth
2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
In a soup pot, heat the butter over medium high heat. Add the onions and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add the miso paste, chickpeas, fregula sarda and Noshejan Bacio Italiano. Mix well and cook for 2 more minutes, combining all the ingredients thoroughly.
Add the broth and lemon juice. Stir well.
Bring the soup to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, lower the heat to medium and cook uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring often.
