2 catfish filets
-
1/2 cup buttermilk
-
1/4 cup cornmeal
-
4 tbsp butter
Instructions
Rinse the catfish well. Pat dry.
In a mixing bowl, add the catfish, 1 tbsp Noshejan Curried Cajun seasoning, and buttermilk. Mix well, ensuring the fish is completely covered. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to an hour.
Remove the catfish from the buttermilk and let the excess drip off. Lay on a flat plate. Season with remaining Noshejan Curried Cajun seasoning on both sides, rubbing into the fish well.
Sprinkle both sides with cornmeal, pressing lightly onto the fish.
In a large skillet, heat the butter over medium-high heat. Fry catfish for 6 minutes per side.
