Swiss Chard & White Beans

This dish combines tender Swiss chard and creamy white beans, enhanced by our bold Montreal Magique seasoning. Simmered in rich coconut milk and topped with shredded coconut, it offers a unique blend of savory and creamy textures. Ingredients

1 bunch swiss chard

2 tbsp butter

2 shallots, halved and sliced thin

6 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp Noshejan Montreal Magique

1 cup cooked white beans

2 tbsp coconut milk

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp shredded coconut

 

Instructions

Thoroughly wash the Swiss chard. Separate the greens from the stem. Slice the stem and set aside. Roughly tear the greens and set aside.

In a large sauté pan, heat the butter over medium-high heat. Add the chopped stems and shallots and cook for 3 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for one minute more.

Add the Noshejan Montreal Magique and white beans, lower the heat to medium, and stir well. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add the greens, coconut milk, and vinegar. Mix together well. Cook until the greens are wilted, about 5 minutes.

Garnish with shredded coconut.

Serve hot, warm, or cold!
